Many/mo...I read that car washes are indeed better. Many/most recycle the water. At home, your soapy filth can go right to ponds, streams, rivers, lakes, etc. As with fertilizer that doesn't get swept back onto the grass from the driveways and streets, the soap that runs down the driveway and into storm drains doesn't have the chance to get filtered=cleaned as it would if it were on the grass, where it would be filtered as it works its way down through the soil.<br /><br />I used to think I was doing the right thing- saving money- by washing cars at home, but now I get to be lazy- yay!Melissa Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08731029701221962434noreply@blogger.com
